Grub Street and the Aviation Bookshop are very excited to announce the details of the launch celebration for two of our most anticipated Autumn titles: Nimrod Rise and Fall by Tony Blackman, and Finding the Fallen by Andy Saunders
In Nimrod Rise and Fall, Tony Blackman explores the full history, weaponry and technology of this iconic aircraft. The author is uniquely placed to tell this story; as a test pilot at the very beginning and a witness to its final day at Kinloss.
Finding the Fallen is the much-anticipated follow-up to Andy Saunder's instant classics Finding the Few and Finding the Foe. This new work covers a selection of similar mysteries involving missing aircrew and spanning almost the entire twentieth century. Starting with a re-appraisal of the Mannock affair, the author highlights the fates variously of RAF, USAF, Luftwaffe personnel from bomber, reconnaissance and fighter crews in forensic detail.
Both Andy Saunders and Tony Blackman will be in attendance and ready to answer any difficult questions you care to throw at them. Come and say hello at the Aviation Bookshop Marquee, and don't forget to get your books signed!
